No man-made surface such as this can be forever maintenance-free. That said we would anticipate a period of 15-20 years before any minor changes in the condition of the driveway appear. As mentioned elsewhere our installations include a ten year guarantee for your peace of mind.
A typical resin driveway can withstand the weight of all household vehicles. However, if you are planning to use the driveway surface for heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) please advise us at the time of enquiring so we can advise.
A new driveway, patio or footpath should not be stood upon for around six hours. We recommend waiting 24-48 hours before placing a car on the surface.
The resin is porous so rain, in most cases, will simply slip through. Any surface that includes slopes or an incline should include appropriate drainage in the surrounding space. Please contact us directly for further advice.
